The Toolbar has five tabs:

  • Get Started
  • Update
  • Finish
  • Settings and Tools
  • Help

It also displays a summary of the currently active licence between the Finish and Settings and Tools tabs.  Clicking on it displays the licence.

Get Started

This tab lets you open an existing file, or start a new basic chronology. See Get Started for more information.

Update

Use this tab to add or change events, to put dates and times into a consistent format, and to check for errors in your chronology. See Update.

Finish

When you have finished working on a chronology and want to save it or send it to someone else, this tab explains the various options. See Finish.

Settings and Tools

This tab allows you to set the following:

  • how dates are formatted
  • abbreviations
  • a password for the current document
  • the order in which events are sorted, and whether the table should be sorted automatically
  • a Sequence Column
  • a licence

It also lets you view Chronolator logs and clear Chronolator cookies.

See Settings and Tools for more details.

Help

Chronolator Enter is designed to be as easy to use as possible, without requiring extensive Help such as this.

The Help tab provides answers to most common questions.
